Chennai: Reputed diplomat, former Kuwait ambassador and novelist B M C Nair (Mohana Chandran -77) passed away at his residence in Anna Nagar in Chennai on Friday morning. Nair was ailing for a long time and the end came at 10.30 in the morning. Nair had served as ambassador to Mozambique, Jamaica, Singapore and Kuwait.
