OVER 60000 POLICE DEPLOYED TODAY FOR ELECTIONS

A total of 60,175 police officers are to be deployed from today for the upcoming Presidential election. In addition, 8,080 Civil Defense personnel would also be deployed on election duty from today. Furthermore, the Peoples Action for Free and Fair Elections (PAFFREL) would be deploying 4000 observers to monitor the election.
