KSRTC ASKS GOVT TO EXTEND LIFE OF SUPERFAST BUSES

KSRTC has approached the state government demanding to extend the period of use of superfast buses from 7 years to 9 years. If not, 415 buses will have to be withdrawn from service during the next 6 months and there are no new buses to replace the old ones. Earlier, superfast buses were used only for a maximum of 5 years.
