Hoping to raise awareness among Latinos about the early signs of serious mental illness, researchers with USC will launch a pilot program today in the east San Fernando Valley so that residents there will know where to find help.Called La CLAVE, or the key, the campaign is aimed at Latino immigrants because they are less likely than other groups to seek professional help if a loved one shows signs of mental illness, researchers said.
