Minister Jeong Kyeong-doo delivered a Defense policy briefing to some 700 military officials from the Army, Navy and Air Force.
Speaking at Gyeryongdae military headquarters,... the defense chief explained the plans for the military's main tasks this year.
He also touched on the details of the "five-year defense plan,"... announced last Friday.
Jeong stressed the importance of maintaining a strong defense posture, building trust by implementing the inter-Korean military agreement,... and modernizing the nation's defense system with the the ongoing "Defense Reform 2-point-0".
